I wrote a new article for the ITSMF Quarterly Review. The article is in dutch and the translated tittle would be something like: “In a dialog we learn what drives and worries our manager and stakeholders”.
The article gives three examples from daily practice. One describing a manager that is lacking grip on his project and how the project manager helps the business manager in defining effective measures to increase overview, insight, influence and commitment. The 2nd how a personal dialog can help to talk about the true expectations the parties have and the 3rd how including the comfort-need leads to a good progress reporting.
