I am very excited to announce the new 2013 EuroSTAR Community Leaders. So what exactly are Community Leaders? Well they are outstanding members of the EuroSTAR Community – passionate about testing, passionate about EuroSTAR and passionate about continuing to build Europe’s biggest software testing Community.

Agile and testing

For the Bits & Chips magazine I wrote an article in which I describe three different test teams. All three are working in an Agile environment and all three teams experience their work in a different manner. In this article I focus on the documentation. Should it be finalized before the sprint? Should we not expect that the true behavior of the system is determined during the sprint. That is where the adaptively comes from, right? But how are these additional choices documented, how much time do the testers loose in trying to find out what to test? Different teams have different opinions and strive for different solutions.

Translation online

For testnieuws.nl  I wrote a column called “Een nieuwe stofzuiger voor 100 gulden”, freely translated into “a new vacuum cleaner for $100″. In this column question myself why testing is worthwhile and how I ended up in the profession anyway. The column describes a morning meeting with the R&D team of a vacuum cleaner factory. Belgium testing Days 2013

In February I spoke at the BTD. This is my video impression of the conference, it is a non-linear spoken report…It was a good conference…and gave me some nice ideas. It was also intensive. If I look at my final take, I look much more tired than in the first minute of the video.
